It’s Mothers’ Day on 13 May 2012, Sunday! But my family decided to celebrate on the day before to avoid the crowd. We headed down to City Square Mall Korean BBQ place for dinner!
Besides our mum, we invited our aunties as well, and we needed a table of 11 to accommodate all of us. It is an ala carte buffet, where you just have to pay one standard price to enjoy everything on the menu, except for some specified items.
I love their cold noodle, which is very chewy and tasty. Their bean paste soup is good too. My mum likes their kimchi soup, and we all love the plates and plates of meat on the grill pan. Vegetables and mushrooms are at the counter for us to take, and the never ending flow of kimchi.
My brother is a vegetarian, and they catered for that too, on a separate ala carte menu that doesn’t include barbeque.
You will smell like a walking barbeque food on the street after the meal, and I normally will head back home straight instead of shopping around the mall.
